This incomplete logbook of the brig Diana details a shipping voyage from Thacher Island, off Cape Ann, Mass., to Jamaica and the Norfolk, Va., area of Chesapeake Bay, July-Nov. 1799. The brig's home port was Norfolk; the master was Thomas Bunch; the logbook keeper was Nathan Hovey.
